Los Angeles Zoo
Monkeys, and leopards, and Komodo dragons-oh my! For a
day of animal adventures, head to the Los Angeles Zoo where
you can see over 1,200 amphibians, birds, mammals and reptiles
from more than 370 different species.
This 80 acre zoo will delight children of all ages! You
can watch the ploughshare tortoises, lions and many other
creatures as they romp and play in exhibits designed to
match their natural environments.
Zoos like the Los Angeles Zoo are important because they
allow many people to see up close and personal animals that
they would usually not be exposed to. This makes them understand
more the importance of protecting these animals in the wild.
If you love zoos you'll want to check out the Atlanta Zoo the next time your in the South. Zoo Atlanta is known as one of the world's leading zoos.
