DisneyLand Visitors Guide
As the only Disney park in which Walt Disney ever walked,
Disneyland has a special magic all its own. The Park is
composed of multiple sections: Disneyland, Disney’s California
Adventure and
Downtown Disney. Convenient to the Park are Disneyland hotels
where you can unwind in style.
In Disneyland Park you can ride classics like the It’s a Small World, the King
Author carrousel, the Jungle Cruise and Mr. Toad’s Wild
Ride; get your thrills on the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage,
Space Mountain or the Matterhorn Bobsleds; and, check out
the shows like Fantasmic, Walt Disney’s Parade of Dreams,
the Disneyland Band and the Sword in the Stone ceremony. As
you explore the park, you will frequently meet many of your
favorite Disney characters.
While in Disney’s California Adventure don’t miss the spectacular entertainment at the Magic of Brother Bear, Disney’s Aladdin or the Disney Playhouse. You will laugh and shout as you ride California Screaming, the Sun Wheel and the 180 foot tall, 3 towers free fall of Mailboomers. As you explore the 4 areas—Golden Gate, Paradise Pier, a Bug’s Land and Hollywood Pictures Backlot—you will get a unique look at California all in the space of 57 acres.
Downtown Disney is a one of a kind blend
of shopping, eating, and entertainment. You will find stores
like Anne Geddes, Fossil, the Disneyland Vault 28, World
of Disney and Department 56; eateries representing a smattering
of food selections from around the world; and, great shows
at the
House of Blues, Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen, or AMC Theatres.
There is no way to see all Disneyland offers in just one day, so plan for your stay to last at least 3 days. Then grab your camera, put on some comfortable walking shoes and visit Disney because “When you wish upon a star….”
